Chicagoland Concrete & Waterproofing in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a hardworking Waterproofing Laborer to join our team. This hands-on outdoor role protects homes and structures from water damage and offers a path to grow a solid career in the skilled trades.

You will apply membranes, coatings, and sealants, assist with site prep and excavation, and help install drainage and moisture barriers. Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior experience in construction, waterproofing, plumbing, or a related trade.
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply waterproofing membranes, coatings, and sealants to foundations, walls, and concrete surfaces.
• Assist with excavation, surface preparation, and cleanup on job sites.
• Install drainage systems, sump pumps, and moisture barriers as directed.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow project instructions from crew leads and supervisors to ensure quality workmanship.
• Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment as needed.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all timesLoad, unload, and transport materials and equipment as needed

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record
• Ability to follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines on job sites
