Job summary

PEST PATROL INC in San Diego County is seeking a Waterproofing Installer to join our construction/termite repair division, focusing on balcony and deck waterproofing using Westcoat systems on residential and HOA properties.

You will install and prep, work outdoors on elevated surfaces, collaborate with carpenters, and maintain quality, safety, and on-site organization while enjoying steady year-round work and clear opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Construction or waterproofing experience preferred.
• Experience with balcony or deck waterproofing is a strong plus.
• Ability to use hand tools, grinders, mixers, and application equipment.
• Comfortable outdoors and on elevated surfaces.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physically able to lift, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install cementitious and liquid-applied waterproofing systems for balconies, decks, stairs, and walkways
• Prep substrates including grinding, cleaning, priming, and patching
• Apply waterproofing layers, base coats, membranes, and topcoats per manufacturer specifications
• Work alongside carpenters and termite repair crews on balcony restoration projects
• Follow safety procedures, jobsite protocols, and quality standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure projects stay on schedule

About the Role

We are hiring a Waterproofing Installer to join our construction/termite repair division, specializing in balcony and deck waterproofing systems. This position focuses on installing Westcoat waterproofing systems on residential and HOA multi-family properties throughout San Diego County.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Install cementitious and liquid-applied waterproofing systems for balconies, decks, stairs, and walkways
• Prep substrates including grinding, cleaning, priming, and patching

Experience & Qualifications

• Physically able to lift materials, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
