Job summary

Suburban Insulation, part of Installed Building Products, seeks a skilled Waterproofing and Expansion Joints Installer to join our Cranberry Township team. You will install membranes, sealants, and drainage, and lay expansion joints on floors, walls, roofs, and parking structures.

This role requires working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied weather. A high school diploma is required; trade certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification is a plus.
• Familiar with waterproofing products and joint systems (e.g., Sika, Tremco, Emseal).
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Install waterproofing systems including membranes, sealants, coatings, and drainage.
• Install expansion joint systems on floors, walls, roofs, and parking structures.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, priming, and ensuring proper substrate conditions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer installation instructions.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on installed systems as needed.
• Coordinate with other trades and project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.
