Job summary

SK Insulation of Pennsylvania is seeking a Waterproofing Technician to join our operations team. The Waterproofing Technician oversees waterproofing installation across commercial, multi-family, and residential insulation projects, ensuring quality workmanship and OSHA safety compliance.

You will read drawings, prepare surfaces, install membranes, seals, and related products, and coordinate with foremen and project managers to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial waterproofing, construction, or related trades.
• Ability to read construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
• Willingness to travel overnight and work varied schedules.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial waterproofing systems (membranes, barriers, drainage boards, sealants).
• Prepare surfaces before waterproofing application.
• Read and interpret project drawings and specs.
• Measure, cut, and install waterproofing materials with precision.
• Apply products using hand tools, power tools, sprayers, rollers, etc.
• Perform related construction tasks and patching.
• Inspect installations for quality and deficiencies.
• Operate ladders, lifts, and jobsite equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area per OSHA and company policies.
• Coordinate with Foremen, Project Managers, General Contractors, and trades to complete projects on schedule.
