Job summary

Landry’s, Inc. seeks a Waterpark Operations Manager to lead the upcoming Boardwalk Bay opening at Kemah Boardwalk.

You will oversee park-wide operations, safety, guest services, and teams, ensuring exceptional hospitality and compliance from opening prep through daily performance. You’ll build high-performing teams, manage budgets, and deliver a memorable guest experience in a new pirate- and shipwreck-themed waterpark opening early 2027.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive operations leadership in waterparks or similar high-volume guest environments.
• 2–3 years of direct management across multiple departments including supervisors or teams.
• Experience managing seasonal staffing, lifeguards, and emergency response.
• Strong knowledge of aquatic safety, regulatory compliance, and guest service standards.
• Demonstrated financial acumen including labor management and expense control.

Responsibilities

• Lead park-wide operations and prep for Boardwalk Bay opening in early 2027.
• Oversee daily operations across Aquatics, Guest Services, Admissions, F&B, Safety, and supporting departments.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, staffing, inspections, cleanliness, and guest amenities.
• Monitor attendance, weather, guest flow, and resource allocation to adapt as needed.
• Serve as operational leader in the Waterpark Director’s absence and provide cross-department support.
