Job summary

Westgate Resorts in Florida seeks a Waterpark Manager to lead daily water park operations, ensuring a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for guests and Team Members. You will oversee Aquatics staff, maintain safety standards, schedule activities, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires supervising staff, coordinating training, and maintaining certifications while collaborating with department heads to optimize operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2–3 years in an Aquatics department or large resort program, supervisory experience preferred.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, AED certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and hazardous conditions.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop Aquatics Team Members.
• Conduct Aquatics classes, training, and in-service programs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor waterpark programming and schedules.
• Maintain lifeguard certifications and safety standards.
• Prepare operational reports and attend department meetings.
• Maintain waterpark inventory and coordinate with accounting.
