Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions seeks a Waterpark Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations, lead a team, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of rides and facilities.

You will manage inspections, documentation, and supplier coordination while delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding our Lead with Love Promise.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in hotel/resort, waterpark, theme park, construction, or related field.
• Experience managing large maintenance teams across multiple shifts and facilities.
• Knowledge of air conditioning/heating systems, plumbing, and facility maintenance and management.
• Leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.

Responsibilities

• Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs of Kalahari Resorts.
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Ensure that all waterpark rides are inspected daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner such as licenses, state forms, and maintenance logs.
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the ride manufacturer’s preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations related to guest and associate health, safety, labor requirements, ride safety, and required inspections.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies for the waterpark and make purchases with Waterpark Manager approval.
• Other duties as deemed appropriate by the Waterpark Manager.

Waterpark Maintenance Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, you will Oversee waterpark maintenance operations, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives for ride maintenance, ride checks, repairs, costs, guest service satisfaction, safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure facilities, equipment, and attractions are safe, clean, reliable, and operate efficiently. You’ll support associates by providing a safe, well-maintained workplace and respond quickly to maintenance needs so everyone can deliver positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in hotel/resort, waterpark, theme park, construction, or a related field; or 4 years of experience managing large maintenance teams across multiple shifts and facilities. Alternatively, a 4-year college degree with at least 1 year of related experience, or a 2-year college degree with 2 or more years of related experience.
• Have knowledge of air conditioning/heating systems, plumbing, building and all facility maintenance and management.
• Have knowledge of waterpark rides and daily operations for a Waterpark or leisure/vacation venue.
• A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
