The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and that means a fin-tastic variety of recreational activities on the resort! With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are looking for a friendly, confident and welcoming individual to assist guests as they check in to the indoor waterpark.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay $13.75 per hour
Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years of age
Reports to: Director of Recreation
As a Waterpark Cashier, you will be a vital part of creating an environment of fun and participation while ensuring that the guests are enjoying the area safely. You will be confident in handling cash and credit card payments accurately and enjoy talking to people of all ages including young children.
Responsibilities Include
- Proper cash handling procedures to include Micros transactions, balancing daily receipts, balance bank, complete all closing reports and deposits.
- Greet all guests as they enter, charging for admission, and explaining the facility lay out and amenities.
- Maintain a clean facility and work area.
- Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone.
- Restocking and selling of merchandise.
- Properly assist guests in a prompt and hospitable manner.

Personal Skills
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling and recording payments.
- Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests, other staff members and on the phone.
- Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.
- Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
- Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times
- Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.

- Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
Physical Requirements
- Must be a strong swimmer.
- Minimum pulling and lifting of 20 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
