Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Construction Inspector for Waterline, Sewer and Pavement Restoration in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on inspecting waterline installations, sewer work, and pavement restoration to ensure compliance with plans, safety standards, and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in waterline and sewer construction as well as pavement restoration inspections.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and safety protocol.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record (required)

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor waterline installation, repair and replacement projects for compliance with plans, specifications and safety standards.
• Oversee pavement restoration activities ensuring proper materials, compaction and finish quality.
• Document daily progress, prepare inspection reports and communicate findings to the supervisor.
