ORBIS Inc. seeks a Waterfront Test Manager/Power Coordinator to provide on-site support and oversight for US Navy surface ship modernizations for NSWCPD Philadelphia.

You will coordinate test procedures, shipyard support, and power tagging, ensuring safety and timely execution while interfacing with ship's force and contractor teams. A secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required, with extensive HM&E experience.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience in maintenance, testing and repair of HM&E equipment on US Navy surface ships or submarines.
• Direct fleet support, installations, testing, troubleshooting, equipment assessments, and acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with NAVSEA headquarters and Surface fleet roles preferred.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with a secret security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the execution of NSWCPD test procedures.
• Coordinate ship yard test support among NSWCPD codes and provide weekly status reports; notify SMR of delays and changes.
• Provide power coordination; interface with ship's force, NSWCPD ISEAs, and other activities for tag in/tag out.
• Schedule power-related testing activities to ensure safety during shipboard alterations.
• Interface with lead maintenance, ship yard and alteration installation teams to support modernization work.
