Job summary

The City of Burlington, Vermont is seeking a Marina Operations Supervisor to oversee Dockmasters, Waterfront Supervisors, and the two municipal marinas. The role partners with the Marina Manager to run day-to-day operations, handle cash deposits, and schedule staff for seasonal coverage.

Typical duties include supervising shifts, training staff, ensuring customer service, maintaining facilities and equipment, and managing park and harbor operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Valid Boater's license required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule Dockmasters and Supervisors for appropriate shifts.
• Train seasonal staff at start of season and as needed.
• Process daily cash-outs and deposits within 24 hours.
• Provide excellent customer service and train staff accordingly.
• Oversee stocking of facilities and cleaning of premises.
• Maintain and care for harbor assets and vessels.
• Supervise Burlington Harbor and Moorings; manage transient dockage fees.
