Job summary

Parable Hospitality's Marina del Rey property is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer I to keep guest rooms and public areas safe, functional, and welcoming. This hands-on role responds to maintenance requests, performs preventative upkeep, and troubleshoots a range of building systems.

You'll work with engineering, housekeeping, and front office teams to uphold high standards of guest experience, safety, and equipment reliability across the property, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and

Qualifications

Minimum experience in maintenance or engineering roles.
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry basics.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine next steps.
Comfort using common hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Respond promptly to guest and team member maintenance requests.
Troubleshoot basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building issues.
Complete preventative maintenance to keep equipment and hotel systems operating properly.
Inspect rooms and common areas for maintenance needs and report issues requiring attention.
Document completed work and communicate outstanding maintenance needs to the Engineering team.
