Job summary

Stones Throw in Tampa, FL, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a waterfront bar and restaurant. You will own the operation, drive guest experience, and manage the bottom line with a hands-on, energetic leadership style.

You will oversee FOH and BOH, partner with the Executive Chef on menus and costs, and ensure health code compliance while maintaining service excellence for a busy dining room and bar.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as General Manager or Managing Partner in high-volume, full-service hospitality
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain a high-performing team
• Financial fluency - budgeting, cost control, revenue analysis
• Deep knowledge of FOH and bar operations
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L - track revenue, manage costs, and hit monthly targets
• Manage vendor relationships, purchase orders, and invoice approvals
• Analyze sales mix, covers, and check averages to identify growth opportunities
• Oversee cocktail program, inventory, and pour costs
• Coordinate with events team for private dining and large reservations
