Fernandina Harbor Marina in Florida is seeking a friendly Dockhand to assist boaters with docking, fueling, and guest services. This outdoor, hands-on role suits those who enjoy the waterfront and customer interaction.

Starting pay is $15 per hour plus tips, with flexible scheduling and room to grow within the Alliance Marine network. Training is provided, and safety is a key focus while working around docks and fuel stations.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Assist boaters with docking, tying lines, and fueling vessels safely.
• Provide excellent guest service: greet arrivals, answer questions, and share local area knowledge.
• Maintain marina facilities, docks, and fuel stations—keeping them clean, safe, and stocked.
• Monitor fuel pumps, dispense fuel, and complete accurate fueling records.
• Support transient and seasonal guests with reservations, check-ins, and service requests.
• Inspect docks, slips, and equipment; report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Coordinate deliveries and amenities for guests (ice, packages, pump-outs, etc.).
• Uphold company safety and security standards at all times.
