Job summary

Montauk Yacht Club, part of Proper Hospitality, is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails, beers, wines, and non‑alcoholic drinks for guests with speed and care. You will greet guests, take orders, recommend drinks, and ensure accurate tab handling in a fast‑paced, guest‑oriented environment.

Maintain a clean, stocked bar, assist with inventory, collaborate with servers and kitchen staff, and uphold responsible service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous bartender or similar service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, recipes, and spirits.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Greet guests, take orders, and offer recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar and manage inventory.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service and safety standards.
