Job summary

CTL Engineering in Youngstown, OH is seeking Engineering Technicians and Construction Inspectors for year-round work focused on Water/Wastewater plants and water main projects in Northeast Ohio. Training and mentoring are provided, with opportunities for increased responsibility based on your experience and interests.

Duties include field testing, inspection, and reporting on concrete, rebar, and related construction activities; ensuring contractor compliance with specs; and maintaining project

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering, construction, testing and inspection principles.
• ACI Grade I Concrete Testing Technician preferred but not required.
• Experience with water/wastewater plant projects is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs construction engineering technician and inspection services for W/WW plant construction projects and water main installations.
• Tests, inspects, and reports on concrete pours, rebar placement, utility location and other materials.
• Ensures contractor compliance with state specifications, plans and proposals.
• Notifies the Project Engineer of non-conforming work.
• Maintains project records and reports.
