Job summary

CTL Engineering is seeking Construction Inspectors to support water/wastewater plant and water main projects in the Ashtabula, OH area. The role emphasizes inspection, testing, and coordination with project engineers across multiple site locations.

The position offers full-time hours with potential for overtime. Prior experience is beneficial, but all experience levels are welcome, with mentoring provided. ACI certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering, construction testing and inspection principles.
• Knowledge of materials testing methods is a plus.
• Ability to perform quality control initiatives and field testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction engineering technician and inspection services for W/WW plant construction projects.
• Inspect concrete pours, rebar placement, and other building materials.
• Oversee utility location, digging, and water main installations and repairs.
• Prepare and maintain project records and reports.
• Notify Project Engineer of non-conforming work.
