Job summary

CTL Engineering, Inc. is seeking Engineering Technicians | Construction Inspectors to support water/wastewater plant projects and water main installations across northeast Ohio.

We welcome all experience levels and provide mentoring and growth opportunities in construction administration and inspection. Responsibilities include concrete testing, inspection, reporting, and ensuring contractor compliance with standards, with occasional weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School, Technical School, Community College, or Bachelor's in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• New Grads are encouraged to apply!
• ACI Grade I Concrete Testing Technician certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs construction engineering technician and inspection services focused on concrete testing, rebar inspection, and water/wastewater plant projects.
• Oversees utility location, digging, and water main installations/connections and repairs for municipal clients.
• Tests, inspects, and reports on concrete pours, rebar placement, and other construction materials.
• Ensures contractor compliance with state specifications, plans, and proposals for construction work.
• Prepares and maintains project records and reports.
