Job summary

Beyer Air Conditioning & Heating is seeking a Water Well Technician to install, maintain, and repair water wells for residential and commercial clients. You will inspect wells, test water quality, diagnose pump issues, document work, and educate customers on maintenance and safety.

Travel to sites and some weekend work may be required; health insurance and PTO provided. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining well equipment, documenting service actions, and ensuring regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in water well technology preferred.
• 3-5 years of water well installation or maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install new water well equipment, including pumps and filtration systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of wells to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair issues with well pumps, motors, and components.
• Respond to emergency service calls for well failures or water quality issues.
• Conduct water quality tests and analyze results to ensure compliance with health standards.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, inspections, well inventory, and water quality tests.
• Communicate service options, pricing, and maintenance schedules with clients.
• Provide education to clients on well maintenance and water safety practices.
