Job summary

Jobtailor in New Mexico seeks a practical Ranch Worker to maintain water systems, assist with the bison herd, and operate ranch equipment. You will perform checks, testing, repairs, and development of water systems; move and handle bison using low-stress methods; and maintain grazing and range health records.

• At least three years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience in livestock care and low-stress animal handling.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and ATVs/UTVs.
• Basic computer skills, including reports and spreadsheets.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.

• Checking, testing, repairing, and developing water systems such as windmills, solar wells, wildlife guzzlers, storage systems, and tanks from pipelines.
• Working with the Castle Rock bison herd as part of the ranch’s Bison Department.
