Santa Fe County is seeking a laborer to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of county utility infrastructure in Santa Fe County, NM. The role requires following schedules, operating basic tools, and complying with safety protocols.

Responsibilities include water/wastewater line work, grounds maintenance, traffic flagging, and assisting system operators. The job involves outdoor work, exposure to elements, and potential on-call hours with safety-first expectations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must obtain forklift, CPR, First Aid and traffic control flagging certifications.
Experience with hand and power tools is a plus.

Responsabilités

Install, maintain and repair county utility infrastructure according to schedules.
Install, clean and repair water/wastewater lines, lift stations, and other facilities; perform grounds work and flag traffic.
Transport contaminants to solid waste.
Assist system operators and perform related duties as assigned.
Follow safety protocols and promote workplace safety and environmental practices.
