Job summary

Parkhill seeks a Treatment Practice Leader to grow client relationships and advance strategic growth in water and wastewater treatment for the Dallas–Fort Worth market. The role emphasizes technical leadership, project delivery excellence, and active client engagement across Parkhill’s Texas offices.

The ideal candidate has a PE license in Texas, 10 years in water resources or water/wastewater, and proven business development experience with public agencies and funding programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• P.E. license in Texas; ability to obtain NM and OK licensure.
• 10 years of experience in water resources and/or water/wastewater treatment.
• Proven business development experience, including pursuing clients, proposals, and managing relationships.
• Experience with state, regional, and local public agencies and funding agencies.

Responsibilities

• Represent Parkhill at council and commission meetings, conferences, and seminars.
• Develop opportunities in North Texas in major areas of water/wastewater treatment and water resources.
• Create and execute a business development plan for the region, aligned with the sector’s strategic vision.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, team partners, and industry leaders.
• Collaborate across Sectors and office locations to leverage Parkhill’s collective experience and expertise.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas required; ability to obtain licensure in New Mexico and Oklahoma
• 10 years of experience specializing in either water resources and/or water/wastewater treatment
• Proven business development experience, including pursuing clients, preparing proposals, and managing relationships
• Experience working with state, regional, and local public agencies—including municipalities, water districts, river authorities, counties, and other state entities—as well as state and federal funding agencies
