Responsibilities

• Monitor operators and inmates in operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities.
• Operates wastewater treatment plant facilities.
• Monitors and performs chemical and laboratory tests for water quality.
• Adjusts chlorine feed rate and controls.
• Collects biological samples and sends to state lab.
• Maintains treatment plant records and prepares reports.
• Submits reports to EPA and sanitary departments.
• Oversees general maintenance at the facility.
• Responds to emergencies to meet EPA requirements.
• Attends training and meetings as required.
