Qualifications

• EPA water/wastewater certification required.
• Minimum 6 months as treatment plant operator with routine lab tests.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operators and inmates in operation and maintenance of wastewater facilities.
• Operate wastewater treatment plant facilities.
• Perform chemical and lab tests to determine treatment levels and water quality.
• Adjust chlorine feed rate and controls.
• Collect samples and send to state lab for analysis.
• Maintain treatment plant records and reports for EPA and sanitary sections.
• Oversee general maintenance at the facility and respond to EPA requirements.
