Job summary

Ruekert & Mielke, Inc. in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Student Intern to gain hands-on experience in water, wastewater, SCADA, and municipal utility projects from May to August.

You'll work with engineers and technicians on design, drafting, modeling, fieldwork, and technology-driven solutions, supporting planning and documentation while building practical skills and professional relationships in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in civil, environmental, electrical, mechanical, or related water/utility program.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and an interest in hydraulic modeling, data systems, SCADA.
• Strong organization and communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, drafting, modeling, and technical support using CAD and related software.
• Support preparation of reports, specifications, cost estimates, and planning documents.
• Conduct data collection, research, and technical analysis for project designs.
• Participate in fieldwork, site inspections, and facility observations under senior staff.
• Collaborate with team to ensure project quality and accuracy.
• Maintain project documentation and support compliance standards.
