Job summary

GFT is seeking a Proposal Manager (Water/Wastewater) to join our Business Development team. This remote/hybrid role can be performed from various U.S.

locations, with preferred candidates in Mechanicsburg, PA; Asheville, NC; Denver, CO; Atlanta, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; Pittsburgh, PA; Philadelphia, PA; or Virginia Beach, VA. Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of proposal experience in the AEC industry.
• Water/Wastewater market experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Adobe Creative Suite experience, including InDesign.
• Knowledge of capture planning concepts and best practices.
• At least 2 years supporting capture planning across multiple pursuits.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to drive quality deliverables on schedule.
• 2 years of proposal interview preparation leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-priority proposals and manage multiple concurrent efforts.
• Oversee compliance matrices and verify requirements across proposal elements.
• Develop win themes, client benefits, and strategic messaging.
• Coordinate kick-off and milestone reviews; lead executive summaries and outlines.
• Mentor junior staff and track opportunities in CRM.
• Support client service teams with pipeline analysis and CST planning.
