Job summary

GFT is seeking a Proposal Manager (Water/Wastewater) to join its Business Development team. This remote/hybrid role can be performed from multiple US locations, with emphasis on Mechanicsburg, PA; Asheville, NC; Denver, CO; Atlanta, GA; and other cities.

Responsibilities include leading high-priority proposals, guiding capture planning, and supporting client service efforts across Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts. Strong leadership and cross-team coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or communications is required
• Minimum 8 years of proposal experience in the AEC industry is required
• Water/Wastewater experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) experience

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic proposal management for complex proposals and capture planning
• Provide capture planning leadership and coordinate with Capture Managers
• Mentor junior Business Development staff and oversee proposal milestone processes
• Enter and track opportunities and proposals in CRM
• Coordinate with MarCom and client service teams to craft messaging and visuals
