Job summary

WGA, LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil engineering projects from inception through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with client requirements and company standards. You will run weekly meetings, coordinate internal and external teams, manage budgets and schedules, and report progress to Practice Leaders while developing junior staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
PE license is required.
Minimum 5 years of civil engineering project management experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project financial management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

Lead the project team and manage the full project lifecycle from inception to closeout.
Conduct weekly meetings and coordinate internal teams and external subcontractors.
Ensure QA/QC standards, schedules, and budgets are met.
Provide project updates to Practice Manager or Practice Leader.
Manage projects to 95% completion or higher in competent areas.
Draft proposals and set budgets with the project team.
Oversee project accounting, invoicing, and budgeting in Ajera.
Lead and mentor staff, providing guidance and motivation.
Ensure projects align with company standards and best practices.
Develop client relationships with Client Managers to meet needs.
Participate in engineering associations and professional development.
