Jacobs, a leader in engineering and science, seeks an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to build strategic partnerships with Florida municipalities and deliver high-profile projects from the Orlando office. You will guide project delivery, lead diverse teams, and drive business development to win new contracts.

You will maintain strong client relationships, leverage delivery tools and metrics, and coordinate proposals, presentations, and negotiations while supporting market strategy

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Environmental or Civil engineering or applicable discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE).
• Strong understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, and a proven history of leading project delivery teams to successfully meet client expectations.
• Excellent oral and written communication, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem-solving, and a strong organizational approach.
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships that result in new/repeat consulting work.
• Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Water/Wastewater projects for municipal clients in Florida.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to win new contracts and expand engagements.
• Help shape Florida Water Market Strategy and contribute to business development activities.
• Direct project teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across multiple projects.
• Represent Jacobs in client meetings, proposals, and negotiations.

Your impact

We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Water/Wastewater Project Manager who will build strategic business partnerships and deliver high-profile projects with key municipal clients in Florida. This position will report out of the Orlando office.

As a Project Manager, you will understand client organizations and processes, develop and maintain consistent relationships at all organizational levels, and work to ensure that Jacobs is the consultant-of-choice for our clients. You'll be able to leverage your people management skills to optimize your team’s performance and consistently deliver high-quality technical solutions for our clients. In this role, you will play a leadership role in business development activities that result in the award of new contracts. This typically includes client relationship development, project-specific positioning activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, oral presentations, and contract negotiations consistent with established business development processes.

Here's what you'll need

Ideally, you'll also have

• 10+ years of progressively responsible Project Manager experience with Water/Wastewater Treatment and Conveyance projects and municipal consulting.

The base salary range for this position is $92,100.00 to $115,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
