Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead water and wastewater programs in Southeast Michigan, guiding project teams with support from our global technical experts. You will mentor staff, cultivate client relationships, pursue new work, and develop strategies, proposals, and negotiated contracts for major infrastructure projects. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
  • PE license required.
  • 15+ years of progressive engineering and project management experience.

We’re seeking a Sr. Project Manager to work with our Water and Wastewater Clients in Southeast MI. Here’s what you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
  • Demonstrated understanding of one or all of the following: drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment, master planning, conveyance and storage, and/or treatment processes and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated by a desire to get the job done through whatever challenges arise
  • Project management experience for water/wastewater infrastructure study and design projects
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • More than 15 years of progressive engineering and project management experience
  • Master’s Degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering
  • Experience with process mechanical design and willingness to perform as the discipline lead role on an as-needed basis

The base salary range for this position is $145,600.00 to $210,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
