Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning projects in a water-related environment. You will coordinate engineers, manage client relations, and supervise design and production meetings, ensuring on-time contract documents and adherence to code requirements.

Requirements include aEngineering degree, PE license, 7+ years of experience, and strong MS Office/MS Project skills. A leadership mindset and ownership culture are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience.
  • At least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • MS Office and MS Project experience required; Access experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline planning projects or large, routine projects.
  • Independently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire project's development.

  • Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance.
  • Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff.
  • Coordinate workload throughout entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule.
  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule.
  • Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

The expected compensation range for this position is $109,260 - $156,085 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
