Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Montgomery, AL seeks an experienced Project Manager/Portfolio Manager to lead delivery and portfolio activities with public sector clients. You will mentor PMs, support sales, and drive strategy while ensuring quality, safety and performance across projects.

This role requires a robust infrastructure background and a commitment to Jacobs' values. Hybrid work model is supported; candidates should reside in or near Montgomery and bring 10+ years in infrastructure

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required (B.S. or M.S.).
• Montgomery, AL area residence with public/private infra client experience.
• Progressive project management experience on infrastructure projects.
• Experience in stormwater, wastewater, water, operations or maintenance consulting.
• Strong communication, analytical, and client-relations skills.
• Alabama PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery and portfolio management activities to achieve project goals.
• Support sales with positioning, proposals, presentations and negotiations.
• Contribute to local market strategy delivering advanced tech solutions.
• Lead teams through planning, execution and closeout to meet scope/budget.
• Ensure health, safety, quality, financial, delivery and risk objectives are met.
• Demonstrate leadership with integrity and Jacobs Culture of Caring.
