Job summary

Woodard & Curran is seeking a Water and Wastewater Treatment Project Manager to lead daily operations and oversee a staff at facilities in Washington. You will manage SCADA, maintenance programs, capital projects, and regulatory reporting to ensure compliant, reliable service.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years of experience in complex water facilities, a valid WA license, and strong communication skills. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid State of Washington Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators license.
• 10 to 15 years’ experience in managing complex water and/or wastewater facilities.
• Experience overseeing a budget of $1.0 million or more.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operations and management of all water and wastewater.
• Day-to-day operations and management of a SCADA System and remote communications network.
• Management of an innovative predictive maintenance management program.
• Administration and implementation of all routine and capital repair and replacement projects.
• Emergency response for process upsets, equipment failures, force majeure events, all alarm events etc.
• Provision of requested/required operations and compliance reporting to regulatory agencies and municipality.
• Development, management and oversight of the Capital Improvement Plan.
• Collaborate with engineers on future planning and ongoing construction administration.
• Attend council meetings and present project update presentations.
• Promote and develop staff members.
• Review development plans and permits and attend pre-construction meetings.
