Hazen and Sawyer in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer / Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams on planning, design, and construction related projects for water and wastewater infrastructure.

The role requires 5+ years of water/wastewater design experience, a Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering, and PE licensure or ability to obtain within one year. Project management experience is preferred and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of water and wastewater conveyance and/or treatment design experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater facilities planning and design projects.
• Prepare assessment and design reports, perform design calculations, size equipment, and prepare construction documents.
• Support construction management and commissioning; conduct field work and site visits as needed.
