Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Project Engineer Manager for Water & Wastewater in California with a minimum of 5 years’ related experience and a PE license or active pursuit. You will lead multi-discipline teams, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor staff on municipal projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search).
• Professional registration or licensure (PE) is typically required depending on division.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex engineering deliverables for large or multiple projects.
• Assist in the research to develop equipment and material recommendations.
• Prepare complex engineering calculations following standard methods and principles.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines.
• Lead production teams, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a project.
