Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Project Engineer (Water/Wastewater construction) for the Mid-Atlantic region, open to candidates in DC, Maryland, and Virginia markets. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and managing onsite construction engineering activities for water and wastewater projects.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering or Construction Management background with 5+ years of construction engineering experience; bridge experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• 5+ years of similar construction engineering experience.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities.
• Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule (Primavera P6).
• Provide technical support for construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; contractibility reviews, etc.
