Job summary

Apex is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects in Idaho. You will work with senior engineers and project managers from planning through startup, expanding your technical and project management skills.

Responsibilities include designing treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines, and storage; conducting hydraulic analyses; preparing reports, drawings, and cost estimates; and coordinating with clients, regulators,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of water/wastewater engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related Engineering.
• PE registration preferred or ability to obtain Idaho licensure within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Design and support municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects (treatment facilities, pump stations, pipelines).
• Perform engineering calculations, hydraulic analyses, and cost estimates.
• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, drawings, and permit applications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
• Provide construction administration support and client coordination.
• Assist with proposals, scopes of work, and project budgets.
