Job summary

Integrity Municipal Systems LLC (IMS) seeks a Project Engineer based in Zeeland, MI to design, document, and manage lime slaking and water treatmentequipment projects. You will produce BOMs, P&IDs, and O&M manuals, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet customer specs.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and at least two years of engineering experience, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and 2D CAD; Autodesk Inventor is a plus. Occasional travel to Poway, CA may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or related engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years’ post-graduation engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat; and 2D CAD software.
• Willingness to learn Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD if no prior experience.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings (mechanical, process, electrical).
• Strong organizational & communication skills; capable of multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and confirm project scope and adherence.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager to resolve discrepancies and define final supply scope.
• Prepare technical submittal documents, BOMs, and project plans.
• Generate P&IDs, cut sheets, and other project documentation.
• Prepare fabrication drawings and BOMs; apply industry standards and codes.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment; support risk assessment and project status reporting.
