Job summary

SEH seeks a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our Water/Wastewater team, supporting planning, design, and construction of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage or conveyance projects.

The ideal candidate has a civil or environmental engineering degree, a PE or eligibility within six months, and four years of design experience on water/wastewater projects; proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS, and Revit is preferred; SEH offers employee ownership,

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field.
• Coursework related to water and wastewater treatment or conveyance.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Join our drinking water and wastewater infrastructure team to support the planning, design, and construction of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage or conveyance projects.
• Develop creative solutions to complex water and wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with engineers, designers and other professionals.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions.
• Build and strengthen client relationships in collaboration with experienced project managers.

This Opportunity:

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Coursework related to water and wastewater treatment or conveyance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Four (4) years of previous experience serving as a design engineer or project manager for water/wastewater projects.
• Previous experience in preparing project plans, specifications, and bidding documents.
• Previous experience in project proposal preparation and client service management.
• Proficiency with design applications such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, ArcGIS, and Revit.
• Proficiency with hydraulic modeling including software.
