Job summary

CSA Group is seeking an Engineer-in-Training professional for our water and wastewater practice in New Jersey. You will support planning, design, and startup of treatment systems and pipelines, working in project teams to meet client scopes and budgets.

The role requires an engineering degree and EIT licensure, with experience in water/wastewater design, regulatory coordination, and report preparation. Proficiency with AutoCAD and modeling tools is expected, along with strong communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Registration as licensed Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
Interest/Experience in water and wastewater consulting field.
Experience in water and wastewater pipeline, pump station, and treatment facility design, rehabilitation, and construction.
Ability to prepare reports and design documents with environmental rules knowledge.

Responsibilities

Support major projects involving planning, design, and startup of water and wastewater systems.
Collaborate within project teams to meet client expectations for scope, budget and schedule.
Demonstrate technical excellence in planning, design, bid documents, project management, and coordination.
Assemble and present written recommendations on technical matters and prepare reports.
Inspect, test and evaluate collection, conveyance, distribution, and treatment systems and processes.
