Job summary

Barge Design Solutions is seeking a Project Manager in Memphis to lead water and wastewater pipeline, pumping, and treatment projects from conception through completion. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and client communication to ensure successful delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 6+ years in the industry, and 3+ years managing water or wastewater design projects; PE or PMP with equivalent skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
• Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary agent between client and project team coordinating events, leading client meetings, and delivery of final project to client.
• Coordinates multi-discipline design projects for water/wastewater treatment plants and pump stations.
• Develops and manages scopes, schedules, and budgets for successful project delivery.
• Provides technical engineering guidance and resolves project problems, challenges, and obstacles.
• Prepares comprehensive Project Management Plans.
• Ensures Quality Program implementation and execution.
• Manages project financials, invoices, and changes requests from clients.
• Participates in project management training sessions and related group meetings.
• Develops and maintains positive relationships with clients, internal teams, officials, contractors, and others.
• If applicable, may assist as an engineering technical lead on projects.
