Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) seeks a dedicated operator for the Lockhart Wastewater Treatment Plants to ensure daily operation and regulatory compliance under EPA and TCEQ permits. The role includes producing water to meet demand, coordinating with the Luling Water Treatment Plant, and maintaining the treated water delivery system.

Qualifications

• Willing to work varying hours and be on-call for emergencies.
• Ability to safely operate gas, electric, hydraulic and hand tools.
• Read and interpret technical information and permits.
• Perform basic math and read analog/digital indicators.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps.

Responsibilities

• Operate pump stations and wastewater treatment plants.
• Collect samples and perform routine tests.
• Maintain logs, lab records, and process control worksheets.
• Monitor SCADA system and respond to alarms.
• Perform maintenance and general repair tasks.
