Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Class C Drivers License and Good Driving Record.
  • Class D Water and/or Waste Water License required within six months of employment.
  • Class C Water and/or Waste Water License required within one year of employment.
  • Approved Hazmat training required within six months of employment.
  • High School Diploma (completion of high school)

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain water or wastewater treatment plants.
  • Collect samples and analyze water/wastewater for process monitoring and reporting.
  • Regulate process controls, adjust valves, flows and chemical dosages.
  • Calibrate and maintain lab and equipment; entry of lab data.
  • Perform general and preventative plant maintenance; manage supplies and repairs.
