Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class/Level 3, 2 or 1 Wastewater license in Georgia.
• Hands-on experience operating water treatment plants.
• Strong organization and English communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret operation manuals and equipment drawings.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
• Minimum 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Performs water sample testing to analyze and optimize plant efficiency.
• Maintains records and logs of all plant operations.
• Calibrates mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment.
• Diagnoses and repairs pumps, drive units, valves and related equipment.
• Communicates malfunctions clearly to the team.
• Troubleshoots equipment and applies safety procedures.
• Understands solids, pH, turbidity and coagulation for adjustments.
• Works effectively in a team and prioritizes daily tasks.
• Uses office software to document operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
