Job summary

Ultipro in Jerome, ID is seeking a Water and Wastewater Operator to join a state-of-the-art beef processing facility. You will operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment, monitor biological processes, collect samples, run analyses, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will work with SCADA/HMI systems, manage data, and support an on-site drinking water system. The role offers on-the-job training, benefits, and opportunities for advancement within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience or coursework in water/wastewater or laboratory settings preferred.
• Valid Idaho driver's license required.
• Willingness to on-call and work nights, weekends, or holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in challenging environments.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily sample collection, lab analysis, and data management.
• Monitor SCADA/HMI; review trends and alarms.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations on equipment.
• Maintain documentation in an audit-ready state.
• Operate support equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
