Nexus Water Group in Texas is seeking a Field Technician I to perform routine checks of water and wastewater systems and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules. You will assist in all areas of operations, maintenance, and customer service for facility systems.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, diagnosing problems, performing preventive maintenance, collecting samples, and maintaining EPA and TCEQ reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related water or wastewater ops, maintenance, and customer service.
• Must obtain TCEQ Class D Ground Water and Wastewater Certification within 1 year.
• Must obtain TCEQ Class C Ground Water and Wastewater Certification within 3 years.
• Basic computer skills; MS Office (Outlook, Excel).

Responsabilités

• Perform routine checks of facilities and ensure permit compliance (TCEQ/NPDES).
• Monitor equipment and operations; diagnose problems and repairs.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and maintenance scheduling.
• Record daily data for EPA/TCEQ reports.
• Respond to customer service calls and coordinate with team.
