Job summary

Nexus Water Group in Granbury, TX is hiring a Water/Wastewater Operator I to perform routine checks and help maintain compliant facility operations. You will monitor equipment, collect samples, assist with preventive maintenance, and support customer service as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and one year of related water/wastewater experience; a class D (and eventually class C) TCEQ certification is expected within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• One year of related water/wastewater experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to obtain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine checks of water/wastewater facilities and monitors permit compliance.
• Operates equipment, collects samples, and maintains daily log data.
• Assists with preventive maintenance and basic repairs as needed.
• Responds to customer service calls and supports field technicians as needed.
• Orders supplies to maintain inventory and supports training for staff.
