Job summary

Inframark is hiring a Water-Wastewater Treatment Operator in Perry, GA to monitor and operate treatment facilities, collect samples, perform routine tests, and maintain data records. Licensed operators are encouraged to apply and experience with SCADA is a plus.

You will work with a safety-first team, perform preventive maintenance, respond to on-call needs, and help ensure compliant, reliable water quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred for some locations.
• State water or wastewater license/certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Previous water/wastewater experience preferred.
• SCADA systems experience preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and on-call.
• Physical: lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs/ladders, work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor pumps, valves, motors, disinfection systems to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Inspect equipment, collect samples, perform routine testing, and conduct basic lab analyses.
• Record and maintain operational data: flow rates, chemical usage, equipment performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Respond to operational issues and on-call emergencies to restore service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safety-focused work environment per standards.
• Follow all safety policies and regulatory procedures.
