Job summary

H2O Innovation is seeking a Water & Wastewater Operator for our Houston, TX area team. This full-time, permanent role involves operating and inspecting water and wastewater treatment plants, supporting project work, and ensuring compliance with standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Class D license, with a CDL an asset, and a valid driver’s license. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential to success in this role, which may involve field and plant duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe, compliant, and consistent operation of all water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of treatment plants and pumping stations in accordance with established standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of the collection and distribution systems as well as the treatment plants.
• Create and initiate work orders for operational servicing and repairs.
• Prepare and manage activity and work orders for both preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Order goods and equipment, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Provide guidance and support to plant team members.
• Communicate with operators, clients, and management regarding any issues that may affect the treatment process, compliance, or public health.
• Support water and wastewater treatment projects by assisting in the development of project plans and SOPs, as well as justifying and executing project requests.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships and communication between operators and customers.

H 2 O Innovation is seeking a new Water & Wastewater Operator to join our team in the Houston, TX area. Our next colleague will have a full-time & permanent position. In this role, you will accomplish a variety of duties while conducting regular inspection of our plants and supporting water & wastewater treatment projects.

The Day-to-Day
