Gilder Search Group is seeking a Water/Wastewater Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth in California and Colorado. You will connect engineers, contractors, equipment suppliers and facility owners to pursue long-cycle projects in water and wastewater treatment.

Qualifications

• Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, industrial water, or recycled water.
• Experience in account management, market development, or business development with long sales cycles.
• Background working with contractors, engineering firms, plant designers, equipment manufacturers, or water technology companies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the connector between engineers, equipment suppliers, and facility owners seeking water and wastewater solutions.
• Introduce the company early in projects (concept to pre-construction) where long-term relationships matter.
• Identify underserved opportunities in private water treatment across key sectors.
• Shape market development by deciding focus areas, partners, and opportunities worth pursuing.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to align capabilities with project needs.
• Expand the company's footprint across California, and Colorado.
